Discovery of scroll fragments ‘magnificent and rare’ 

Dozens of newly discovered Dead Sea Scrolls fragments were found in a Judean Desert cave occupied by Jewish refugees 1,900 years ago, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced. The exploration team also recovered rare coins, a large basket estimated to be about 10,500 years old, and the skeleton of a mummified child dating back about 6,000 years, CNET reports.
