A BIG ask and a pertinent pledge

Today, I am asking you to give BIG Media a chance. And my request comes with a promise.

Over the last few years, our incredible editorial team has demonstrated that it is possible to have a news source that is extremely accurate, trustworthy, and transparent.

Because our journalists are accomplished scientists and professionals capable of doing their own research, we can avoid relying on the testimony of experts, who often have personal/professional agendas that fly in the face of the public’s best interest.

When you strip away sensationalism and focus on verifiable facts, valid data, and logical interpretation, you can actually get to the truth.

When you completely avoid advertising, sponsorship, and government funding, it is possible to focus on the intelligence of the audience, rather than the size of the audience.

This is where you come in.

At BIG Media, we serve only our readers, who pay a modest membership (subscription) fee to help drive the business.

Now, for the promise.

If you sign up using any of the options under “Membership” on our main menu, I promise to deliver all of the following:

• VERY accurate news coverage

• Insightful opinion columns supported by verifiable facts

• Humour columns that elicit either an LOL or an eyeroll

• Consistent communication of editorial highlights via our BIG Bulletin newsletters

• An attentive ear regarding feedback and story ideas

• A platform on which you can publish your own constructive posts without fear of being attacked by trolls

Why not give us a try? You could be part of a desperately needed initiative that empowers readers while encouraging societal harmony.

If I do not deliver on any part of my promise, you can cancel your membership any time.

Send me a direct message or comment below if you have any questions.
