Israel launches fresh strikes on southwest Iran on ninth day of conflict

(BBC News) Israel says it has attacked “dozens of military targets” in southwest Iran as the conflict enters its ninth day.
Iranian media report an emergency centre in the Khuzestan province was targeted, with a university saying it had been completely destroyed.
The UN’s nuclear watchdog says Israel struck an Iranian nuclear plant in Isfahan – BBC Verify identified fresh damage to several buildings at the site.
Earlier, Iran’s foreign minister said U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict would be “very, very dangerous”.
Israel’s military said they killed Iranian commander Saeed Izadi in a targeted attack overnight.
