COVID Amnesty Day – it’s time to accept and move on

“How did it happen?” you might be saying. “How did an intelligent person like me get suckered into believing that the lock-down-and-vaccinate approach to the COVID-19 pandemic was a moral imperative?

“It’s not like I didn’t know that politicians, medical officials, and health agencies have a rich history of corruption, deceit, and collusion (CDC). So, WHO on Earth is to blame for me giving them a free pass and blindly accepting – and even promoting – their prescribed agenda this time?

“Of course, I should have been skeptical and conducted thorough research before rolling up my sleeves for unproven drugs that did not stop transmission of the virus they were targeting … especially for a virus that was not a significant threat to healthy people. Not to mention serious vaccine side effects that were widely documented.”

Now, that might not be an exact quote, but I bet it is fairly accurate for many.

How did you get fooled? Easy …

  • You have a pharmaceutical industry that is quite adept at lobbying and financially supporting politicians and media organizations
  • You have a news media industry that will sell its soul (whatever was left at the time) to attract readers, and editorial personnel who are either disinterested in conducting proper research or are simply ill-equipped to understand critical data
  • You have politicians who are focused on chasing votes rather than showing true leadership in times of crisis
  • You have governments – perhaps most notably the Biden administration in the U.S. – that pressured media companies into hiding the truth from the public through extensive censorship programs (Zuckerberg regrets bowing to Biden ‘pressure’ over Covid)

So, you need not blame yourself, because the odds were stacked against you … particularly if you are one of those dangerously nice, trusting people (Really nice people are a really big problem ).

However, you better darn well accept that it happened, so you don’t end up supporting counterproductive policies when the next health crisis comes along.

With that in mind, I hereby declare that today – August 27, 2024 – is officially COVID Amnesty Day!

Those of us who for very good reasons were reluctant to mask up, lock down, and vaccinate do not need any apologies … although it might help mend fences that were damaged by unearned trust in the system.

If you are still struggling to accept that COVID lockdowns caused much more harm than good, please raise your hand by commenting below. I will provide links to articles such as this (Detailed analysis of 2021 death data reveals disturbing trends ) that leave little doubt that while we were supposedly making sacrifices to save our parents and grandparents, we were actually sacrificing our siblings and children.

If you still believe that COVID vaccines were “safe and effective”, comment below, and I will politely provide excellent analysis – like this (Analysis of severe events following COVID vaccine shows increased incidence of myocarditis and lymphadenopathy) and this (Higher rates of adverse events after mRNA vaccines interpreted poorly by study authors ) – that will indicate otherwise.

Even though I was screaming from the rooftops to anyone who would listen since March of 2020 that myopic health policies that shuttered businesses and stifled lifestyles would cause tremendous collateral damage, I am going to resist the urge to say I TOLD YOU SO!!

Nope – I am above such petty tactics.

Rather, I just want to encourage constructive discussion about important matters so that we as a society are not doomed to repeat our most dreadful mistakes.
