Trump administration taking shape

(BBC News) Donald Trump has selected Florida congressman Michael Waltz as the next National Security Advisor, two sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.

Waltz is a long-time Trump supporter who last week won re-election for what would have been his third term in Congress.

It comes as Trump continues to make more key appointments ahead of his return to the White House in January.

Loyalists of the president-elect, including Lee Zeldin, one of his staunchest impeachment defenders, and Tom Homan, who served in his last administration, have been tapped for top roles in climate and immigration.

Republicans are edging closer to taking full control of Congress — they already have the Senate and counting for the House continues, you can see the results here.
